Shaun comes to us from Methuen, MA even though his previous work and parish are both in New Hampshire. After spending many years as a cradle Catholic, it was on a retreat in high school that Shaun encountered the real love of Our Lord. Since then, he has continued the journey of faith, always amazed by what the Lord has in store for him next.
Shaun received his undergraduate degree from Assumption College (now Assumption University) in Worcester, MA, and was a double major in Theology and Mathematics, with a minor in Philosophy-- since those three disciplines are clearly related to one another. He then went on to earn his Master of Education in Higher Education from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA. During this time, he also served as a graduate assistant for Merrimack’s Campus Ministry, working with students both on service trips and retreats. Most recently, Shaun completed his Master of Arts in Theology from the Augustine Institute in Denver, CO through their Distance Education program.
Shaun has come to the collaborative to share the faith. His desire is for others to come to know the love of God as he has. As a member of the Faith Formation (Holy Terror) Team, he hopes to do this both by teaching the doctrines of the faith and by sharing his own experiences of the Lord’s love and mercy. In the words of St. John Paull II, “Faith is strengthened when it is given to others!”
Shaun likes to spend his free time watching Boston sports, immersing himself in his favorite fantasy stories (the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars, and the Lord of the Rings to name a few), and doting on his niece and nephew.
