Ray was born and raised in the Pawtucketville section of Lowell where he attended Lowell Public Schools and graduated as the class Salutatorian from Greater Lowell Technical High School where he majored in Computer Programming. He grew up in Ste. Jeanne D'Arc parish where he completed most of the sacraments through their CCD program.
Ray and his wife Christine have been parishioners of St. John since 2016. Although they are now ‘empty nesters’ and live in Hudson, NH, they still call The Holy Rood Collaborative their home, where they attend weekend Mass and remain quite involved in parish life. They have 5 grown children which range from ages 24 to 35 and have 4 grandchildren.
Ray attended his first ACTS Retreat in 2017 and has served on their CORE Committee since 2018. He also serves as a Eucharistic Minister. This is his second ‘tour of duty’ on the council, as he previously served from 2017-2020.
