Lynn joined St. John’s on September 21, 2015. She was, and still is, the answer to a growing and continuing need for administrative support within the St. John Faith Formation Program.
Lynn grew up within the walls of St. John's, having been baptized in 1974 at the Easter Vigil Mass… the first baby baptized in the ‘new’ church! She continued with her Faith Formation journey through Confirmation.
Upon graduating from college, Lynn was recruited by the Department of Defense, where she worked in finance until her retirement a few years ago.
As Administrative Assistant, she provides support to the program by being available to catechists, parents and students during all class times; monitoring attendance, sacramental requirements and records; and completing the registration process. Lynn thoroughly enjoys witnessing families raising their children as she was raised.
Lynn, like a few others here on staff, is also an animal lover! She has a cat named Fenway; 2 Chihuahuas named Pebbles & Rocco, and a therapy dog named Roxy, who specializes in stress diffusion. Funny story… Roxy pretends to be sleeping when Lynn announces that it’s time for work! Lynn has been a dedicated Boston sports fan all her life, but in case you couldn't tell by the name her feline is ‘sporting’, the Boston Red Sox is her first love!
If you have a child(ren) in the St. John Faith Formation Program, you most probably know Lynn. If you don’t, stop in and introduce yourself! During the school year, she can be found sitting at the reception desk in the New Parish Center during Faith Formation classes on Sundays from 8:00 – 1:00. Other than that, call her!
