Lyle has been a member of St. Margaret of Scotland twice: 1964-1990 and then again beginning in 2009 to present.
At age 18 he was a foreman, running four lines at a window manufacturer with a crew of 12, until a back injury forced him to lighter work. He spent 35 years as a group leader in automatic test at MACOM until his retirement. When asked to volunteer in the reopening of St. Margaret during COVID, he applied his learned work skills to that effort, and now helps co-ordinate the SMS 4pm Mass.
On a personal level, Lyle walks 5-6 miles daily. He began tracking his steps back in 2019, and will surpass 14 million steps this September! WOW! Additionally, he enjoys reading. His favorite genre is history. And... he has been a NE Patriots Season Ticket Holder for the past 23 years!
