Christine has been with St. John’s since September 2008. After being home for 10 years raising her 2 boys (now adults), she returned to the ‘workforce’ at St. John’s as a staff support person, working a mere 9 hours per week. Over the years, her job responsibility has slowly and steadily grown into what it is today.
As full-time Communications Coordinator, she is responsible for all collaborative communications, ensuring that parish members and beyond are aware of the many activities and events that our collaborative has to offer. From the weekly bulletins, to the website, to local advertising; from Flocknote notices to flyers created and posted on bulletin boards; from Facebook posts and Twitter feed, and on the horizon, Instagram posts. There will soon be a day that there should NOT be an event that is not ‘out there,' offering the public at large the opportunity to be part of our happenings and our faith community.
On a personal note, Christine commutes daily from Lunenburg, has been married to Ron for over 25 years, is mom to 2 young-adult sons (Nate & Zach) and daughter-in-law Ali; and enjoys the company of 2 dogs (Sheila and Ru) and 2 cats (Lucy and Kitten). She loves journaling, crafting, sitting on the ocean’s edge and long drives to nowhere.
If you ever have anything that needs to be communicated, or have ANY suggestions as to how we can communicate better, please feel free to reach out to her!
