November of Every Year
November is the month when Catholics traditionally recognize their beloved dead. This liturgy is a special Mass for those whose funerals were celebrated at our parishes during the past year (September of previous year through August of current year). The names of those dearly departed souls will be read during the Mass.
Below is the 2024 Schedule.
THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR PARTICIPATION
Praying for the dead and comforting those who mourn is one of the Spiritual Works of Mercy. As parishioners of our three parish communities, we are encouraged to attend these celebrations in which we are gifted with the
awesome opportunity to gather and pray for those who have been buried from our Churches, and afforded the
opportunity to show our care to their family and friends.
Our presence and participation witnesses to the credibility of our belief that life is everlasting and builds a stronger faith community as we become participants in the ministry of bereavement.
We welcome and encourage ALL to gather and celebrate at our Masses of Remembrance.
