Our Collaborative Social Justice Committee has again, for its International Initiative,  committed to support our Sister Parish, Our Lady Star of the Sea, in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

During this Lenten Season, we will be conducting an Almsgiving collection to support this parish, which is deeply dedicated to serving its community through corporal and spiritual works of mercy. Your material and goods donations in years past have helped this community in a number of profound ways.
 
This year, you may donate via online giving, available through all of our churches. If you would like to donate by check, please make checks payable to either St. John the Evangelist, St. Mary or St. Margaret of Scotland and note ‘Lenten Almsgiving’ in the memo. Pease do NOT make check out to The Holy Rood Collaborative as it is not a financial entity.
