The United States Council of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) proactively promote a day of prayer and penance as we observe a National Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children on January 22. The purpose of the Holy Hour is to bring Catholics together in prayerful solidarity for:- increased respect for the dignity of human life from conception to natural death
- forgiveness and healing for all those wounded by abortion
- peace for those facing death and terminal illness, and
- holiness within the Church to transform the culture

- attend daily Mass (our Mass schedule can be found HERE)
- abstain from meat or fast
- pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet (visit St. John LIVEVIEW at 3 pm)
- pray a decade of The Rosary (visit St. Mary LIVEVIEW at 7 pm)
- give up TV/ movies for the day
- offer a Prayer for Life to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament
- sacrifice some of your time to do a small act of service for someone
