Whether we are aware of it or not, our souls long for their creator. We have a thirst that can only be truly quenched by our God. We have a longing and a desire for peace that can only be obtained through Him who IS peace. If you find yourself in a place that is running short on peace and hope, we invite you to begin anew (or begin again) a journey to the Spirit who dwells within you! He longs for and patiently awaits for us to come and sit quietly with Him.
For those of you new to this practice, you may find it difficult at first to sit in silence. We are so used to the incessant noise that surrounds us daily. But hang in there… you will soon find that the quiet is exactly what you need to carry with you into the world, to rely on, and to share. We promise… in time, you will come to love your “alone time” with the Lord.
