About our Nurses...
Charlene Muscato, a longtime parishioner of St. John the Evangelist, is a Registered Nurse with over 40 years of community nursing experience with the VNA (now known as Circle Health). In the summer of 2019, she graduated from the Foundation of Faith Community Nurse Certification Course, sponsored by the Archdiocesan Office of Chaplaincy. The completion of this program allows Charlene to build a team of dedicated volunteers to assist in the healthcare needs of our collaborative family.

Kathleen Pender-Phaneuf, a member of the St. Margaret of Scotland parish family, has been practicing as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years in the Lowell area, her specialty being Family Community Nursing. She has also been a Professor of Nursing in the college setting for 26 years as well and received her Doctorate in Nursing from UMASS Lowell in 2016. In the Summer of 2018, she completed the Faith Community Nurse Certification Course at the Archdiocese of Boston.

Marybeth Marcotte has been a member of St. Mary Parish for over 40 years. She is a Nurse Practitioner employed at Lowell General Hospital. Currently she is working at the Circle Health OB/GYN practice in Chelmsford. Her hospital experience also includes many years of staff nursing in ICU and Cardiac Care. Marybeth believes providing health care information and wellness car is a part of our mission to provide for our faith community.
